Curtains made to measure for your window
Ready-made curtains rarely have the right width and height: they end up too short, drag on the floor or don’t cover the whole window. Our curtains are made to the measurements of your space, in the fabric and colour you choose.
How it works
- Dimensions: send us the dimensions of the window or wall, or we can arrange a visit to measure.
- Fabric and colour: choose with us in the store, in Valongo, from the available fabrics.
- Quotation: we send you the price of the fabric, the making-up and the track.
- Making-up: we make the curtain to measure, with a wave track. [Usual lead time: 2-3 weeks.]
- Installation: if you wish, we install it at your home, quoted separately.
How much it costs
The fabric costs from 18€ per metre. The final price depends on the width to be covered and the chosen fabric, and always includes the fabric, the making-up and the track.
A real example: for a window 3 metres wide, with a fabric at 18€ per metre, the curtain came to 315€, with fabric, making-up and track included. The installation was quoted separately.
Why the wave track
With the wave track, the fabric falls in regular, even waves, whether the curtain is open or closed. It glides easily and keeps the same shape over time.

Frequently asked questions
How much do made-to-measure curtains cost? The fabric costs from 18€ per metre. As an example, a curtain for a window 3 metres wide, with fabric at 18€ per metre, came to 315€, with making-up and track included. Installation is quoted separately.
What is included in the price? The fabric, the made-to-measure making-up and the wave track. Installation at your home has its own quotation.
How do I take the measurements? Measure the width you want to cover (window or wall to wall). If you have any doubts, we can arrange a visit to measure.
How long does it take? On average, 2-3 weeks from order to delivery.
What fabrics can I choose? We have more or less translucent fabrics, to filter the light without losing brightness; opaque ones, which reduce the light considerably; blackout ones, which block it almost completely; and linen-look fabrics. If you don’t know which to choose, tell us which room the curtain will go in and we will help you decide.
What is the difference between opaque and blackout? Opaque fabric darkens the room, but lets some light through. Blackout blocks almost all the light, which is useful in bedrooms or home cinema rooms.
Do you also make blinds? Yes. We make made-to-measure blinds in canvas, screen (which filter the sun and let you see outside) and day-and-night (with alternating strips that adjust to let more or less light through). They can be used on their own or behind a curtain.
Can I see the fabrics before I decide? Yes. You can see and touch the fabrics in our store, at Rua da Passagem, 680, in Valongo, Monday to Saturday.
